John grew up in Upstate New York in a small town called Broadalbin. Graduating High School there in 2001 he knew he always wanted to attend the University of Oklahoma. His father from Holdenville, Oklahoma always brought him down to visit the family in Oklahoma and John developed a passion to be part of the community here.
After graduating in 2006 from the University of Oklahoma he enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma in the Mortuary Science program and became a licensed funeral director. This began his career serving and caring for the families of the Norman community.
John and his wife Jennifer live in Norman with their son and daughter. You may see John pushing his children around town while running, attending sporting events at OU or Thunder games, attending various events in the community, and serving his community.
John serves our team as the Care Specialist Executive Director helping to ensure that all our families know that we can have this discussion prior to someone passing.
