Obituary

Rosemary Louise McKinney was born July 11, 1941, in Westcliffe, CO and departed this life on June 28, 2026, at the age of eighty-four. As a child she attended school in Grand Junction, CO graduating with the class of 1959. After high school she attended Oklahoma Baptist University graduating in 1963 and obtained her master’s degree from Colorado State University in 1968.

Rosemary married Orville McKinney on April 15, 1991, and moved to Denver, CO for several years before returning to Oklahoma. After residing in the south metro for many years, she and Orville had recently moved to Norman, OK. Rosemary was an active member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, OK for over 25 years.

In 2007, Rosemary became a licensed real estate agent in the state of Oklahoma. A woman of numerous talents, she was an interior designer, and taught school, but her real passion was in real estate.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents: Delbert and Juanita Hutto, and her brother Jack Hutto.

A beloved wife, mother, and Memaw, Rosemary is survived by her husband Orville of the home, her son Charles West of Tuttle, OK, bonus daughters Lisa McClain (Kevin) of South Weber Utah, and Lorie Hill (Nathan) of Hennessey, OK.

Rosemary leaves a legacy in her surviving grandchildren Jordan Burns (Justin), Rance West, Kirsten West, Justin McClain, Ashley (Mike) Fergus, Tyler (Alison) Hill, Levi Hill and his significant other Emily Jarolin, Josh McClain, Tristan Hill and his spouse Austin Hoffines, Noah McClain, Micah McClain, and his significant other James Holt, and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends who she dearly loved.
