Pat Johnson

Patsy Ann "Pat" Johnson, lifelong resident of Tuttle, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the age of 83.

Pat was born on May 10, 1938, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, to Mamie Gertrude (Carr) and Andrew Jackson Bozarth. She attended Tuttle schools where she enjoyed cheerleading, basketball, softball and formed many lasting friendships. After graduating high school in 1957, Pat went on to attend the Enid General Hospital School of Nursing. She served as a devoted nurse for 30 years until her retirement.

Pat married Elmer Johnson September 10, 1960 at First Baptist Church of Tuttle. They were blessed with two children Kelley Diann and Kevin DeWayne and recently celebrated 61 years of marriage. Pat and Elmer enjoyed traveling the United States on bus tours. One memorable trip was to the Northeast where they visited Main and Canada.

Pat was best known for her beautiful smile and kind heart. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking with her grandchildren who often requested her white cake and cookies. For many years she attended the First Baptist church of Tuttle where she loved being around her church family.

Pat is survived by her husband of 61 years Elmer Johnson; daughter Kelley Voreis; grandson Nathan Voreis and wife Payton; grandson Joseph Voreis; sister Glenda Gore; sister Connie Porter and husband Leroy; brother Roger Bozarth and wife Gloria along with several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who she dearly loved.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; son Kevin Johnson; son in law Gene Voreis; brother Kenneth Bozarth; sister Betty Jean Garrett; and brother in law Donald Gore.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Pat's son Kevin.
