Norma Jean Griffin, age 82, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in Tuttle.

Norma was born on November 20, 1943, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Norman Franklin and Mary B. (Johnston) Hulsey. She was raised with strong values of faith, family, and kindness—qualities that would define the way she lived her life and the legacy she leaves behind.

For more than 61 wonderful years, Norma shared a beautiful marriage with the love of her life, Dan Griffin. Together they built a life centered around love, laughter, and countless memories. When Dan passed away in 2025, a piece of Norma's heart went with him, yet she continued to carry the love they shared every day. Their marriage was a true partnership, and they found joy simply being together, whether at home or on the road exploring new places.

Norma and Dan especially loved spending time outdoors and shared a passion for the game of golf. They enjoyed competing together in couples golf tournaments, making lifelong friends and treasured memories along the way. They also loved traveling, with road trips becoming some of their favorite adventures. Whether they were discovering a new destination or playing a round of golf on a different course, they cherished every mile traveled together. They were also devoted fans of the Oklahoma Sooners and could often be found cheering on OU with enthusiasm.

Above all else, Norma's greatest joy was her family. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved and found happiness in life's simple moments shared with them. She found enormous joy cooking and baking for her family as she was well known as someone that could create the best dish and follow it up with fantastic dessert. When she was not busy in the kitchen her love of music is where she found her peaceful moments while playing her piano or listening to her favorite musicians of which Elvis was at the top of the list. She was a woman of unwavering faith whose quiet strength, generous heart, and steadfast love provided comfort and encouragement to those around her. Norma was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend whose warmth and gentle spirit touched many lives. Her love, wisdom, and kindness will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Norma is survived by her son, Mike Griffin; her son, Steve Griffin, and his wife, Julie; her grandson, Nathan Griffin; her granddaughter, Paige Griffin; and her brother-in-law, David Griffin, sister Jody Arnett, and Brother Bruce Hulsey.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Griffin, and her parents, Norman Franklin and Mary B. (Johnston) Hulsey, brother Gerald Hulsey, and Sister Shirley Wood. 

Though her earthly journey has come to an end, Norma's legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
