Marvin Glenn Polson, 66, passed away on June 26, 2022.
Marvin was born on December 2, 1955 in Oklahoma City, OK to Manilla Mae and Howard Polson. He was raised in Tuttle, OK alongside his two younger brothers Rick and Michael. Marvin loved being outdoors, working horses, participating in rodeo play days, farming, and fishing.
He met Barbara Lund from El Reno through his cousin Carol Ann and the two were instantly in love. Throughout their 40 years of marriage, they enjoyed date nights at the Oklahoma Opry, simple drives out in the country, and most of all spending time with their grand kids. The two were blessed with four beautiful daughters Kristi Rene, Melissa Diane, Kelli Marie and Traci Nicole. Marvin was the best Dad and provider for his family who loved to rodeo with his girls and help them with showing animals. He taught them how to take care of their animals from saddling up to teaching them how to ride. The family enjoyed time spent fishing and family fun at their grandparents lakehouse in Eufala.
Marvin was best known for always lending a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends as well as his Sabbath Keeper motorcycle ministry group. He took pride in keeping his lawn mowed, his garden tended, and his animals well taken care of.
Marvin is survived by his daughter Kristi Sandlin and husband Noble; daughter Melissa Wiley and husband Michael; daughter Kelli Polson and Stephen Dyer; daughter Traci Polson and Arthur Stempf; four grandchildren Alicia Blaylock and husband Josh Blaylock, Marissa Sandlin, Jaden Sandlin, and Maddux Wiley; great grandson Joshua Blaylock; brother Rick Polson; brother Michael Polson along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
