Obituary

Lon Cole Goemmer, 64, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Cole was born on February 28, 1962, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Lon Otto and Jacquelene Mae (Kincaid) Goemmer. He was raised in Colorado, where he developed a lifelong love for ranching and spent much of his life working the land and caring for cattle. The ranching lifestyle was more than a career to Cole—it was a way of life that reflected his strong work ethic and deep appreciation for the outdoors.

While living in Colorado, Cole met the love of his life, Tammy Clark. The two were married on March 1, 2011 and began their life together in Colorado before moving to Tammy's home state of Maine. Although they enjoyed their years there, their hearts were always drawn back to the Midwest. In 2019, they made Tuttle, Oklahoma, their home, where they enjoyed being closer to the rural lifestyle they loved.

Cole and Tammy were blessed with one son, Thomas, who was the pride and joy of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon Otto and Jacquelene Mae Goemmer.

Cole is lovingly survived by his wife, Tammy Goemmer; his son, Thomas Goemmer; his brother, Pete Goemmer and wife Susan; along with extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Cole will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to ranching, and the quiet strength and integrity that defined his life. His legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
