Kelly Gene Smith

Kelly Gene Smith, age 65, of Houston, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Kelly was born May 11, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, a son of Melvin and Matha Smith Smith. He was raised in Oklahoma City alongside his siblings Virginia, Thelma, Lois, Jennie, Melvin, Paul Melvin, Cecilia, Kay, and Nona. Kelly entered the oilfield at a young age which led to a lifelong career. 

Kelly played baseball as a child which led to him being a fan of the sport for the rest of his life. Most recently, he could be found rooting for the Houston Astros. He would help anyone and had a memorable life and smile. He was a great Dad who loved spending quality time with them. Kelly will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
