John H. Clark Jr., of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on June 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 6, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John lived a life defined by service, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, the Air National Guard and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.

John is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda Clark; his daughter, Jennifer Jeter, and son-in-law, Jason Jeter; his son, Johnny Clark; his sister, Carol Berkovitz and her husband Art; his sister-in-law Sabrina Overman; his grandchildren, Brooklyn Magnuson and her husband Stetson, Nicole Sowers and her husband Randy, Brittany Zauner and her husband Christian, Emanuel Jeter, Esme Clark and Blake Clark; and his great-grandchildren, BraeLynn, Reid, Addison, River, Dexter, and Ramona.

John loved his family and cherished every opportunity to spend time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. John was the kind of father who was always there when needed. His greatest love story began 58 years ago when he married the love of his life, Brenda. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and unwavering commitment. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and devotion. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and deer hunting. He never met a stranger. With a warm smile, a friendly conversation, and a story always ready to share, he had a gift for making people feel welcome.

John was deeply loved by his large family and by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His family is especially grateful that he was able to spend his final Father’s Day surrounded by the children and grandchildren he loved so dearly, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Though he will be greatly missed, his stories, laughter, kindness, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family finds comfort in imagining him casting a line in heavenly waters, sharing stories with old friends, and watching over the family he cherished.

His legacy is not only found in the life he lived, but in the lives he touched, the family he loved, and the memories he leaves behind.
