Jacqueline “Jackie” Banta June 4, 1942 – November 28, 2025
Jacqueline “Jackie” Banta, 83, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on November 28, 2025. She was born on June 4, 1942, to Dewey Jack Pendley and Ruth A. (Garrett) Pendley.
Jackie spent most of her life in the Tuttle area, where she was known for her strong work ethic, warm heart, and unwavering devotion to her family. She worked for many years in convenience stores before joining Scott’s Ministop, where her friendly nature made her a familiar and well-loved presence in the community.
Raising five boys—never a dull moment—she was so proud of them and enjoyed having them together.
Jackie is survived by her sons, Kevin and his wife Crystal Jones, Steve and his wife Marian Broomhall, Danny Broomhall, Tony and his wife Sheila Jones and Jerry Banta. She was a proud grandmother to Drake Banta, Quinton Lowe, Tyler Jones, John Jones, Lacy Broomhall, Jennifer Broomhall, Taylor Jones, Tanner Jones, and Summer Banta.
She is also survived by her siblings: Jimmy Pendley, Janet Yeakley, Carolyn Williams, Jerry Pendley and LaDonna Hernandez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Adam Broomhall; and her siblings Raymond Pendley, Barbara Coy, Eugene “Ram” Pendley and Larry Pendley.
Jackie shared a close and cherished bond with Jerry and Terry Banta, Kevin Pendley, Lori Gregory, Wayne “Lumpy” Adkins, and her sister Janet Yeakley, whose love and support meant the world to her.
