Glenda L. Gore, 82, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by the love of her family.
Glenda was born on May 25, 1943, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, to Andrew Jackson and Mamie Gertrude (Carr) Bozarth. From the beginning, her life was rooted in the town she called home. A lifelong resident of Tuttle, Glenda’s heart belonged to her community, her family, and the simple joys of everyday life. On May 29, 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Gore, the love of her life, and they built a home based on love and their faith. They became the proud parents of two sons, Andy and Tim.
Above all else, Glenda was selflessly devoted to her family. She lived quietly and faithfully, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her love was steady, dependable, and unconditional: the kind of love that made people feel safe, welcome, and cared for. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and joy, where everyone knew they belonged.
Some of the most cherished memories shared by her family are the Christmas sleepovers, when the house came alive with laughter, late nights, and the sweet smells of Christmas cookies and cinnamon rolls. These moments, filled with togetherness and tradition, were reflections of Glenda herself: thoughtful, nurturing, and full of love.
Glenda was a constant presence in the lives of her grandchildren. She never missed an event, proudly cheering from the sidelines and offering encouragement in every season of life. Her love extended far beyond her own family; she opened her heart and home to friends, neighborhood children, and the friends of her grandchildren, often treating them all to a special stop at Star Pharmacy for a Cherry Coke: a small gesture that left lasting memories.
Glenda leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and quiet devotion: a life measured not by grand gestures, but by the countless ways she showed up for others every single day. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her siblings, Betty Jean Garrett, Kenneth Bozarth, and Patsy Ann Johnson.
She is survived by her sons, Andy Gore and Tim Gore; her sister, Connie Porter, and brother, Roger Bozarth; her grandchildren, Whitney Miller and her husband Ryan, Heather Rockenfield and her husband Evan, Brittany Slone and her husband Tyler, and Dylan Gore and his wife Kathryn; her great-grandchildren, Jayce Miller, Bridgette Miller, Rylan Miller, Peyton Rockenfield, Cruz Rockenfield, Everly Slone, Melody Slone, Adaline Gore, Morwenna Gore, Elowen Gore, and Daphne Gore; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
